John was the General Manager for Cement Australia Ltd., the largest cement producer in Australia with 53 sites, where he played a central role in the highly successful Australian Cement/ Queensland Cement merger. He was also instrumental in the construction of the complex $50 million lime plant at Gladstone, Australia which was delivered on time and on budget. He paid particular attention in procurement goals where he exceeded targets by a factor of 2 and delivered savings of more than AU$20 million pa.
He has extensive leadership experience in major corporations including Rio Tinto Alcan where he led the US$4billion mega project in Malaysia as part of the process of setting up Rio Tinto Alcan’s country presence, negotiating joint venture agreements and negotiating pioneer greenfield commercial agreements with State and Federal governments.
John was also CEO of JMS Engineering Pty. Ltd. where he turned the company into a very profitable entity through the doubling of revenue and tripling of profit. It was ultimately acquired by a third party.

Robert is a Business and Commercial Law solicitor in Sydney, Australia. He successfully obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Sydney University in 1967 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1970. In 1976, he obtained his Masters of Law (LLM) with Honours from Sydney University.
Robert has extensive commercial and general legal experience. He advises a diverse group of Business and Corporate clients. Currently, Robert is retained by publicly listed engineering, technology and resource companies, with both national and international interests.
His expertise is in business consulting and commercial transactional matters addressing operational and management issues.
Peter Halstead has more than 30 years of Capital markets experience both in Australia and in Europe.
He has worked primarily in the Institutional Stockbroking market with McIntosh Hamson Hoare Govett in London and then in Australia where he was Global Head of Equities and a member of the Management Committee. Subsequent to the sale of McIntosh to Merrill Lynch he joined County Natwest where he was Head of Institutional Sales for 16 years and a member of the Management Committee. With the purchase of County by Salomon Brothers and their subsequent takeover by Travelers / Citibank he remained Head of Institutional Sales for Australia / New Zealand and was also a Member of the Management Committee for Citigroup Australia for 9 years.
After leaving Citi in 2006 he joined Carnegie Wylie as Managing Director Head of Equity Capital Markets a role that he assumed post the takeover of Carnegie Wylie by Lazard in 2007. He was a member of the Advisory Board of Lazard and whilst at Lazard was involved in advising the New Zealand Crown in the privatisation of their hydro assets and in the sell down of their stake in Air New Zealand, he was also involved in the sale of Coles to Wesfarmers, significant Capital raisings by Suncorp Metway , Asciano, ConnectEast and Newcrest. More recently he was an advisor to the Commonwealth Government of Australia on the IPO of Medibank Private.
In 2007 he was appointed to the Board of Mr Paul Little’s private Companies and is the Chief Investment Officer for the Little Group.
He is also a Member of the Victorian Olympic Foundations Investment Committee and a Member of the Scotch College Investment Committee.

Nik. A Majid a Malaysian, aged 59 was Senior Advisor of ASN Cement in 2014 before being appointed to the Board of ASN Cement Pte Ltd as an Independent Non Executive Director in 1Jun2015.
He joined HSBC Bank Malaysia in 1978 as an officer and began his Management career in HSBC Bank, HK as a Management Trainee in 1983. He was posted to various positions in West and East Malaysia and completing his tenor of service of over 36 years in the bank in late 2013. He held Senior Positions as Director of Strategic Business Development (Managing Large GLCs, Federal and State Goverments and its Agencies), Area Retail Regional Manager, Retail Sales & Distribution Senior Manager, Corporate Banking Manager , Credit Finance & Adminstration Manager and others.
Since Jan2012, he was exclusively appointed to be on the Board of the Selangor State Investment Authority an investment arm of the most riches state in Malaysia amd also moderate Economic Talks
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (UK) and Banking Diploma from The Institute of Bankers, United Kingdom.

Walter is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in infrastructure project management across the power, rail, telecommunication, gas, water and general construction sectors, throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Walter is also a Director of three other companies involved in Project and Engineering Management and is a Trustee of Redwood Venture Capital.
A Fast Track – Mobilization specialist, he is highly experienced in building and rejuvenating organizations and creating a work environment that promotes efficiency and pro-activity. Responsible for devising and driving each company’s business improvement strategies, seeking benchmarks in revenue targets, organizational effectiveness, and business performance, cost management and customer service assurance. Previous successful record with, NBN Co, Aurora Energy, Powerco (NZ), Downer Engineering, Vodafone, ABB and GEC in business and infrastructure design, development & construction, network operations and management, development and executing business strategies.
